ARKANSAS...SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS...NORTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA...
NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA...EAST TEXAS AND
NORTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

A FEW SHOWERS MAY DEVELOP ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE AREA LATER THIS
AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...MAINLY SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 20. HOWEVER...NO
HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED THROUGH TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE BEGINNING EARLY SUNDAY THROUGH EARLY
TUESDAY MORNING AS A WEAK COLD FRONT AND UPPER LEVEL TROUGH SLOWLY
MOVE ACROSS THE REGION. THE BEST CHANCES FOR RAIN SHOULD BE LATE
SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY MONDAY MORNING. AN ISOLATED SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM OR TWO CANNOT BE RULED OUT LATE SUNDAY THROUGH EARLY
MONDAY. HOWEVER...MEAGER INSTABILITY SHOULD KEEP THE SEVERE
WEATHER THREAT LIMITED.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SHREVEPORT HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR
  THE SULPHUR RIVER NEAR NAPLES TEXAS.
* FROM THIS AFTERNOON TO MONDAY EVENING...OR UNTIL THE WARNING IS
  CANCELLED.
* AT 715 AM THURSDAY THE STAGE WAS 21.9 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 22 FEET.
* FORECAST...RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE THIS THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND
  CONTINUE TO RISE TO NEAR 23.0 FEET BY FRIDAY EVENING. THE RIVER
  WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY LATE SUNDAY MORNING.
* IMPACT...MINOR LOWLAND FLOODING.
