ARKANSAS...SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS...NORTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA...
NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA...EAST TEXAS AND
NORTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

AREAS OF LIGHT RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AND SHIFT EAST ACROSS
PORTIONS OF DEEP EAST TEXAS AND NORTHCENTRAL LOUISIANA THIS
AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. THE RAIN AREAS ARE EXPECTED TO GRADUALLY
EXPAND NORTH NORTHEAST ACROSS EAST TEXAS...NORTH LOUISIANA...AND
POSSIBLY EXTREME SOUTHERN ARKANSAS LATE TONIGHT...AS AN UPPER
LEVEL STORM SYSTEM SHIFTS EAST ACROSS MEXICO AND NEARS THE TEXAS
BIG BEND REGION BY DAYBREAK. HOWEVER...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS
EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

SHOWERS WITH A FEW EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE
REGION MONDAY...AS THE PARENT UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM SHIFTS
NORTHEAST ACROSS TEXAS. PERIODS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL
WILL BE POSSIBLE...MAINLY ACROSS DEEP EAST TEXAS...NORTH
LOUISIANA...AND EXTREME SOUTHERN ARKANSAS...WITH ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES...WITH ISOLATED HIGHER
AMOUNTS UP TO THREE INCHES POSSIBLE. THIS MAY RESULT IN LOCALIZED
FLASH FLOODING AND MINOR FLOODING OF LOW LYING...POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS MONDAY BEFORE THE RAIN DIMINISHES FROM SOUTHWEST TO
NORTHEAST MONDAY EVENING. SCATTERED SHOWERS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND NIGHT ACROSS THE REGION AHEAD OF AN ARCTIC
COLD FRONT...BUT RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE LIGHT...WITH UP TO A
THIRD OF AN INCH POSSIBLE. THE COLDEST AIR OF THE FALL SEASON WILL
ARRIVE WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING...WITH A WIDESPREAD
AND POSSIBLY LONG DURATION FREEZE EXPECTED AREAWIDE THURSDAY NIGHT
BEFORE TEMPERATURES BEGIN TO GRADUALLY MODERATE BY NEXT WEEKEND.

MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AROUND 45 MPH. EXPECT VERY LIGHT
RAINFALL AMOUNTS...GENERALLY RANGING FROM A TRACE TO JUST A FEW
HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH.
