This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Heavy rain will accompany thunderstorms as they continue to move
across the region this morning. Flooding may occur with some of the
storms.

Additional scattered thunderstorms may develop across parts of
Central Texas this afternoon. Lightning and heavy rain will be the
main threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Daily storm chances are expected much of next week. Some severe
weather will be possible, especially early and mid next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

increased in duration for the following rivers in Texas...

  Walnut Creek Near Mansfield affecting Tarrant County.

  White Rock Creek Near White Rock Creek At Greenville Ave
  affecting Dallas County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Walnut Creek near Mansfield.

* WHEN...Until this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Major flooding will occur along the creek
  through Mansfield, downstream of Joe Pool Lake. At 25 feet,
  several houses near the creek begin to flood. Oliver Nature Park
  and Town Park are also flooded. Retta Road, North Street, Walnut
  Creek Road, and Magnolia Road are flooded with several feet of
  water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 18.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.7
    feet early this morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    this morning.
