SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE
ACROSS PARTS OF NORTH TEXAS THROUGH LATE TONIGHT. AREAS FROM
COMANCHE TO MINERAL WELLS TO GAINESVILLE AND WEST OF THERE WILL
SEE MOST OF THE RAINFALL OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS. LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THESE SHOWERS AS THEY MOVE
NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH. RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO 2 INCHES WILL BE
POSSIBLE THROUGH LATE TONIGHT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Stay tuned to NOAA All Hazards Radio for the latest river forecasts.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Elm Fork Trinity River Near Carrollton.
* At 0715 PM Tuesday the stage was 8.28 feet.
* Flood stage is 8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will remain near 8 feet through Saturday
  evening then begin falling but remain above flood stage.
* At 8 feet, Minor flooding will occur downstream from the gage.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

THUNDERSTORMS...SOME WITH HEAVY RAINFALL...WILL BECOME MORE NUMEROUS
TONIGHT NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM CISCO...TO GRANBURY...TO FORT
WORTH...TO SHERMAN. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THIS
AREA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS BETWEEN 1 AND 3 INCHES... WITH ISOLATED
TOTALS IN EXCESS OF 4 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS PARTS OF THE
FLASH FLOOD WATCH AREA.

ELSEWHERE...ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE.
ADDITIONAL THREATS INCLUDE CLOUD-TO-GROUND LIGHTNING STRIKES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS CONTAINING HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE NORTHWEST OF
A CISCO...TO FORT WORTH...TO SHERMAN LINE WEDNESDAY MORNING. THE
FLASH FLOOD WATCH WILL CONTINUE THROUGH NOON WEDNESDAY. EVENT
TOTALS WITHIN THE WATCH AREA WILL BE 1 TO 4 INCHES...WITH
ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS.

THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD GRADUALLY END FROM EAST TO WEST WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME...THOUGH REPORTS
