This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Near critical fire weather conditions will continue this afternoon due
to gusty northwest winds and low relative humidity values. The
primary area of concern is generally south of a Sterling City to
Brady line.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Near critical fire weather conditions will affect all of West
Central Texas Thursday afternoon as very warm temperatures combine
with gusty southwest winds and a very dry air mass.

There is a chance for thunderstorms from late Friday afternoon
through Saturday night. A few storms may approach severe levels
Friday evening, mainly north and east of a Sweetwater to
Brownwood line.


Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
