This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Louisiana, east Texas and northeast Texas. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight. Heavy rain will return to the forecast by Sunday, with multiple disturbances anticipated over the course of the next week. Rainfall amounts will range between 2-4 inches today, with locally heavier amounts certainly possible under heavier rainfall rates. A Flood Watch has been issued until Tuesday morning to account for this heavy rainfall activity. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. A slight risk for severe weather has been introduced across the region for Monday, with large hail and damaging winds being the main threat. expect water to overflow the bridge approaches to Farm to Market
Highway 1804 between Hoard and Lindale. Expect several hundred
acres of flooded pasturelands next to the river both upstream and
downstream. Move livestock and equipment to higher ground.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 17.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood
stage at 17.2 feet.
