THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS NOW IN EFFECT FOR

* A PORTION OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING
  AREAS...ATASCOSA...BANDERA...BEXAR...EDWARDS...FRIO...KARNES...
   KENDALL...KERR...KINNEY...MEDINA...REAL...UVALDE AND WILSON.

* UNTIL 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON

* WIDESPREAD RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE MORNING
  HOURS LEADING TO AN ADDITIONAL 1-4 INCHES OF RAIN WITH ISOLATED
  HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. THIS RAIN ON TOP OF WET SOILS FROM
  EARLIER RAINFALL WILL LEAD TO A CONTINUED FLASH FLOOD THREAT.

* SMALL STREAMS...CREEKS AND SOME RIVERS ARE ALREADY
  EXPERIENCING FLOODING IN THESE AREAS. ADDITIONAL HEAVY
  RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE OR EXPAND FLOODING ISSUES OVERNIGHT
  INTO MONDAY MORNING. NEVER DRIVE ACROSS A ROAD COVERED IN
  WATER. TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD

  BEXAR COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS...

* UNTIL 1130 AM CDT

* AT 935 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR AND REPORTS FROM EMERGENCY MANAGERS
  INDICATED HEAVY RAIN THAT IS CURRENTLY CAUSING URBAN AND SMALL
  STREAM FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA. NUMEROUS LOW WATER CROSSINGS
  AND ROADS WILL CONTINUE TO BE FLOODED AS STREAMS AND CREEKS
  CONTINUE TO RISE. UP TO EIGHT INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN
  OVER THE PAST 24 HOURS. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO ONE
  INCH PER HOUR IS EXPECTED OVER THE ADVISORY AREA.

...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

  San Antonio River Near Elmendorf Affecting Bexar and Wilson Counties
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

All persons with interests along the river should monitor
the latest forecasts, and be prepared to take necessary
precautions to protect life and property.

River stage forecasts are based on observed rainfall along with
predicted rain for the next 12 hours. If actual rainfall varies
from forecast values, forecast river stages will vary.

Do not drive automobiles through flooded areas. Remember, 18 inches
of water or less can carry away most vehicles, including trucks.

If you see flood waters or come upon a flooded roadway, remember
to turn around and do not drown.

 The flood warning continues for
  the San Antonio River Near Elmendorf.
* At  8:30 AM Monday the stage was 24.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to above minor flood stage
  by 10 AM Monday morning...then rising above moderate flood stage by 1
  PM Monday afternoon before cresting near 47 feet around 7 PM Monday
  evening. It is possible that the river could crest to near or even
  above major flood stage of 48 feet.
* Impact...At 45.0 feet...Moderate lowland flooding inundates crop and
  pastureland below San Antonio to below Floresville. Roads and bridges in the
  flood plain are flooded. Pump jacks and oil field tank batteries flood..

* Flood Warning for
  the Salado Creek At At Loop 13.
* until Tuesday morning...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  6:15 AM Monday the stage was 12.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...the creek is expected to rise to above minor flood stage by 9
  AM on Monday morning...then to above moderate flood stage by noon on Monday
  before cresting at 20.3 feet shortly thereafter. The creek is then expected
  to rapidly fall to below minor flood stage by 8 PM on Monday and then below
  action stage by 1 AM Tuesday morning.
* Impact...At 22.0 feet...Major lowland flooding reaches the Loop 13 bridge
  floor and the lower half of the KOA campground upstream requiring visitors to
  evacuate the lower half immediately as park officials direct. Secondary roads,
  low bridges and access roads are flooded and very dangerous to motorists..

* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above minor flood stage by noon on
  Monday before cresting at 20.4 feet shortly thereafter. The river is then
  expected to fall rapidly to below flood stage by 7 PM on Monday evening and
  then to below action stage by 2 AM Tuesday morning.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding reaches the Farm to Market 1937
  bridge floor..

* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 10.9 feet by this morning.
  The river will fall below flood stage this morning.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet...Moderate lowland flooding approaches businesses in the
  southwest quadrant of Loop 410 and West Avenue. Low bridges and crossings
  upstream near Lockhill-Selma are very dangerous to traffic..

  the Leon Creek At I-35.
* until this evening...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  6:15 AM Monday the stage was 7.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Heavy rainfall this morning will lead to a rapid rise in the
  creek level. The creek is projected to rise to above flood stage by 6:30
  AM on Monday morning before cresting at 16.8 feet in moderate flood stage by
  10 AM. The creek is then projected to fall fairly rapidly to below moderate
  flood stage by noon...below minor flood stage by 3 PM and then below action
  stage by 7 PM Monday evening.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet...Mobile homes upstream in Camargo Park near the San
  Antonio Missions ball park are threatened. Numerous secondary and primary
  roads and bridges flood above Kelly USA to below I-35. Flow approaches horse
  barns and homes below Kelly USA..

AN ISOLATED FLASH FLOOD THREAT. ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO WEAKEN BY
THE LATE AFTERNOON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
