AFTERNOON ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE HIGHWAY 59 CORRIDOR...LESS
FURTHER NORTHWEST. PEOPLE ARE URGED TO CONTINUE TAKING THE
NECESSARY HEAT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS IF SPENDING TIME OUTDOORS.
ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND
EARLY EVENING...MOSTLY INLAND AND EAST OF INTERSTATE 45. STRONG
WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE VERY LOCALIZED MORE INTENSE CELLS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

IN THE LATE MORNING THROUGH AFTERNOON HOURS DURING EACH DAY THIS WEEK.
A FEW ISOLATED SPOTS CLOSER TO THE COAST MAY REACH 108 DEGREES FOR
AN HOUR OR TWO DURING THE AFTERNOON.

RESIDENTS WITH ANY OUTDOOR ACTIVITY PLANS ARE URGED TO DRINK PLENTY
OF WATER...WEAR LIGHT WEIGHT AND LIGHT COLORED CLOTHING...AND TAKE
FREQUENT INDOOR OR SHADED AREA BREAKS AWAY FROM THE HEAT. YOUNG
CHILDREN AND PETS SHOULD NEVER BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN VEHICLES UNDER
ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! CAR INTERIORS CAN REACH LETHAL HIGH TEMPERATURES
