THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE NORTHWEST
GULF OF MEXICO...CENTRAL LOUISIANA...SOUTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA...
SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA...WEST CENTRAL LOUISIANA...EAST CENTRAL TEXAS
AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
THE COMBINATION OF ABUNDANT MOISTURE...LOW LEVEL BOUNDARY
INTERACTIONS FROM THE SEABREEZE AND RESIDUAL OUTFLOWS...AND
DAYTIME HEATING WILL LEAD TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCATTERED SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS BY LATE THIS MORNING. THE GREATEST COVERAGE OF
STORMS IS EXPECTED EAST OF THE SABINE RIVER. CONDITIONS ARE
FAVORABLE FOR A FEW STORMS TO PULSE TO MINIMAL SEVERE LIMITS
DURING THE AFTERNOON...RESULTING IN STRONG GUSTY DOWNBURST WINDS.
IN ADDITION...STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING FREQUENT CLOUD
TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAINFALL.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DIMINISH DURING THE
EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY
HIGH PRESSURE IN THE MID TO UPPER LEVELS WILL STRENGTHEN THROUGH
THE WEEK. CONVECTION WILL BE LIMITED ALTHOUGH SOME SPOTTY DIURNAL
SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS COULD BE POSSIBLE AS THE SEABREEZE
INTERACTS WITH DAYTIME HEATING. CONDITIONS WILL BE HOT AND MUGGY
WITH DAILY AFTERNOON HEAT INDEX READINGS BETWEEN 100 AND 105
DEGREES.
