CENTRAL LOUISIANA...EAST CENTRAL TEXAS AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED BY LATER THIS
AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT AS YET ANOTHER STRONG DISTURBANCE ALOFT
INTERACTS WITH OUR WARM MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS. LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINS ARE AGAIN EXPECTED TO ACCOMPANY THIS AFTERNOON...AND FOR
THAT REASON A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS AGAIN IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS
OF THE FORECAST AREA THROUGH TONIGHT. IN ADDITION A FEW STORMS
COULD REACH SEVERE LIMITS LATER TODAY AND TONIGHT...MAINLY WEST OF
THE HIGHWAY 165 CORRIDOR...AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS ARE THE PRIMARY
THREAT.

SCATTERED MAINLY AFTERNOON SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED

LATE THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS AND SOUTHWEST AND
CENTRAL LOUISIANA. AVERAGE RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WILL

  RAPIDES...VERNON AND WEST CAMERON. IN TEXAS...HARDIN...
  JEFFERSON...NORTHERN JASPER...NORTHERN NEWTON...ORANGE...
  SOUTHERN JASPER...SOUTHERN NEWTON AND TYLER.

* THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING

* ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED TO FALL ON ALREADY
  SATURATED GROUND IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS...AS WELL AS SOUTHWEST AND
  CENTRAL LOUISIANA FROM LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TONIGHT.
  ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 1 TO 2
  INCHES WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS.

* AREAS THAT SEE HEAVY RAINFALL WITHIN A SHORT TIME COULD
  RECEIVE FLOOD WATER TO DEPTHS THAT WOULD IMPACT PROPERTY AND
  PEOPLE IN THOSE AREAS. AREA CREEKS...STREAMS AND RIVERS ARE
  ALSO LIKELY TO EXPERIENCE RISES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Neches River Near Beaumont.
* from Wednesday evening until further notice...or until the warning
  is cancelled.
* At  8:00 AM Monday the stage was 3.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 4.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage by Wednesday evening
  and continue to rise to near 4.1 feet by Thursday evening.
* Impact...At stages near 4.0 feet...Minor flooding of Beaumont
  Country Club and Colliers Ferry Park can be expected. Also flooding
  in Northwest Orange County south of River Oaks to Bunns Bluff can
  be expected. Water may go over Four Oaks Ranch Road in Northwest
  Orange County.
