THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST
LOUISIANA AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

WIDESPREAD RAIN WITH EMBEDDED HEAVIER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
ARE EXPECTED TO BEGIN SPREADING INLAND TONIGHT AHEAD OF A SLOW
MOVING UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM APPROACHING FROM THE WEST. NO
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED, BUT RAINFALL COULD BE LOCALLY
HEAVY AT TIMES.

EAST WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO STRENGTHEN TONIGHT, ALONG THE COAST
AND OVER THE GULF WATERS, RESULTING IN A MINOR TIDAL PILE UP
ALONG THE COAST, WITH ACTUAL TIDE LEVELS AVERAGING NEAR 3.5 FEET
MEAN LOWER LOW WATER. A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR
THE POTENTIAL FOR MINOR AND MAINLY NUISANCE COASTAL FLOODING OF
LOW LYING AREAS. A WIND ADVISORY MAY ALSO BE NEEDED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE SATURDAY
THROUGH MONDAY, WITH STORM TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES
EXPECTED, AND LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. RAINFALL WILL COME
TO AN END ON MONDAY AS A FRONT PUSHES THROUGH THE AREA.

A STRONG COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO MOVE THROUGH THE AREA WEDNESDAY
NIGHT, WITH TEMPERATURES AT OR BELOW FREEZING EXPECTED THURSDAY
NIGHT.

TEXAS AND SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA COASTLINES TONIGHT... WITH TIDES
ABOUT 1 TO 1.5 FEET ABOVE PREDICTED LEVELS...WITH ACTUAL TIDE
LEVELS BETWEEN 3.0 AND 3.5 FEET MEAN LOWER LOW WATER THIS EVENING
