THROUGH 1 AM CDT...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM
WILL CONTINUE TO MAINLY IMPACT THE GULF WATERS AND THE COASTAL
COUNTIES OF SOUTH TEXAS. THESE SHOWERS...MAINLY DRIFTING SOUTHWEST
AROUND 10 MPH...WILL PRODUCE BRIEF PERIODS OF MODERATE TO POSSIBLY
HEAVY RAINFALL MAINLY OVER THE GULF WATERS...WITH GENERALLY LIGHT
RAIN OVER THE INLAND AREAS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL AVERAGE LESS
THAN 1/4 INCH. AN ISOLATED CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING STRIKE WILL
ALSO BE POSSIBLE.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TODAY...BECOMING MORE
ISOLATED TONIGHT. ALTHOUGH NO SEVERE WEATHER IS
EXPECTED...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE
SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF SOUTH TEXAS...MAINLY NEAR AND SOUTH OF A
ENCINAL TO MATHIS TO ROCKPORT LINE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS TUESDAY WITH AREAL COVERAGE
EXPECTED TO DECREASE FURTHER WEDNESDAY. THE PRIMARY THREAT FROM
THUNDERSTORMS THAT FORM WILL BE DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINS. WIDESPREAD FLOODING OR SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT
ANTICIPATED.
