...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON MST FRIDAY...

* AFFECTED AREA...THE VALLEYS OF NORTHERN AND CENTRAL UTAH
  INCLUDING THE WASATCH FRONT...THE CACHE VALLEY...THE SANPETE
  AND SEVIER VALLEYS...WEST CENTRAL UTAH AND SOUTHWEST UTAH.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...NEW ACCUMULATIONS GENERALLY 2 INCHES OR
  LESS. STORM TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS 2 TO 4 INCHES VALLEY FLOORS AND
  6 TO 12 INCHES BENCHES.

* TIMING...ACROSS NORTHERN UTAH SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THIS
  EVENING BEFORE TURNING SHOWERY FOR LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY FRIDAY
  MORNING. ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN UTAH SNOW WILL INCREASE
  AGAIN THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...MAINLY THROUGH THE BENCH AREAS ALONG THE WASATCH
  FRONT AND CACHE VALLEY...AND ALONG THE INTERSTATE 15 CORRIDOR
  FROM SOUTHERN UTAH COUNTY THROUGH THE CEDAR CITY AREA. THESE
  AREAS WILL RECEIVE ACCUMULATING SNOW ON AREA ROADS WITH WINTER
  DRIVING CONDITIONS EXPECTED.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW MEANS THAT SIGNIFICANT
ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. DRIVING
CONDITIONS MAY BE HAZARDOUS. USE CAUTION. KEEP A WINTER STORM
SURVIVAL KIT IN YOUR VEHICLE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE WESTERN TWO THIRDS OF
UTAH AND SOUTHWEST WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

WIDESPREAD SNOW...HEAVY AT TIMES ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS AND THE
WESTERN UTAH VALLEYS...WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TONIGHT ALONG WITH
COLDER TEMPERATURES AND GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS.

THIS SNOW WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS WINTER TRAVEL CONDITIONS ACROSS MUCH
OF THE OUTLOOK AREA OUTSIDE OF THE LOWEST SOUTHERN VALLEYS. THE
HEAVIEST SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED UP AND DOWN THE I-15 CORRIDOR AND IN
THE ADJACENT MOUNTAINS FROM THE IDAHO BORDER SOUTH TO NEAR CEDAR
CITY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

ACCUMULATING SNOW COULD CONTINUE ACROSS MAINLY THE MOUNTAINS AND
IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT AREAS INTO FRIDAY.

THERE IS A THREAT OF ADDITIONAL SNOW FOR MAINLY THE NORTHERN AND
WESTERN OUTLOOK AREA STARTING LATE SATURDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUING
INTO TUESDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN COLD THROUGH TUESDAY.
