RAIN OR A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW WILL GRADUALLY TRANSITION TO ALL
SNOW EARLY THIS MORNING...RESULTING IN ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2
INCHES IN AREAS MAINLY ABOVE 1500 FEET...WITH A FEW HIGHER AMOUNTS
ALONG THE PEAKS OF THE SMOKY MOUNTAINS. THE LOWER ELEVATIONS MAY
RECEIVE LIGHTER AMOUNTS.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR PARTS OF THE REGION
THROUGH NOON EST THIS THANKSGIVING DAY. STAY TUNED FOR LATER

THIS MORNING...

.A FAST MOVING STORM SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO TRACK INTO THE
SOUTHERN APPALACHIAN REGION THIS THANKSGIVING MORNING...AND BRING
COLD AIR AND PRECIPITATION INTO THE AREA. A MIX OF LIGHT RAIN AND
SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE REGION THROUGH THE MORNING
HOURS. AT THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS...A TRANSITION TO ALL SNOW WILL
OCCUR...RESULTING IN SOME LIGHT SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS.
