THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST NORTH
CAROLINA...EAST TENNESSEE AND SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

A MUCH COLDER AIR MASS WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION TODAY...RESULTING
IN A HARD FREEZE LATER TONIGHT. A FREEZE WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR
ALL OF THE EASTERN TENNESSEE VALLEY AND CUMBERLAND PLATEAU.

IN ADDITION...LINGERING RAIN SHOWERS WILL CHANGE TO SNOW SHOWERS
THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING AS THE COLDER...SUBFREEZING AIR SETTLES
IN. LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE
OVERNIGHT...MAINLY IN ELEVATIONS ABOVE 2500 TO 3000 FEET ACROSS
SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA AND EAST TENNESSEE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

ANOTHER SHOT OF COLD AIR WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION SATURDAY NIGHT
AS ANOTHER COLD FRONT CLIPS THE AREA. A HARD FREEZE IS LIKELY
ONCE AGAIN ACROSS THE ENTIRE EASTERN TENNESSEE VALLEY AND
CUMBERLAND PLATEAU. A FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FOR THESE AREAS LATE
SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING.
