Temperatures will drop into the 30s across most of the area
tonight with areas of frost possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Areas of frost early Friday morning. There is a chance for severe
thunderstorms across the Tennessee Valley region Tuesday.

  will result in frost formation.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest North Carolina, east Tennessee, and
  southwest Virginia.

* WHEN...From 3 AM EDT /2 AM CDT/ to 9 AM EDT /8 AM CDT/ Friday.

* IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive
  outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
