...SNOW THIS AFTERNOON...THEN MORE SNOW TONIGHT...

.LOW PRESSURE ALONG THE VIRGINIA COAST WILL MOVE NORTHEAST
OF THE MID ATLANTIC REGION THIS EVENING. A SIGNIFICANT
ACCUMULATION OF WET SNOW IS POSSIBLE IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS...
WITH LESSER TOTALS ACROSS THE VALLEYS. SNOW AMOUNTS WILL BE HIGHLY
VARIABLE ACROSS IN THE REGION...BUT MAXIMUM AMOUNTS COULD RANGE
FROM 3 TO 6 INCHES IN SOME LOCATIONS.

ANOTHER LOW WILL MOVE FROM THE MID MISSISSIPPI VALLEY INTO THE MID
ATLANTIC AREA BY THURSDAY MORNING.

  ELEVATIONS. LOCALLY HIGHER TOTALS ALONG THE BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY
  IN FLOYD AND CARROLL COUNTIES.

* TIMING...INTO EARLY THIS AFTERNOON.

* IMPACTS...SOME BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES MAY BECOME SNOW COVERED
  AND SLICK. SNOW MAY ACCUMULATE ON ROADWAYS ACROSS THE HIGHER
  ELEVATIONS. ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES ARE LIKELY.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE MID 30S.
