NORTHERN AND CENTRAL VIRGINIA...AND CENTRAL AND WESTERN MARYLAND
WITH THE EXCEPTION OF GARRETT COUNTY.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE BALTIMORE AND
WASHINGTON METRO AREAS THIS EVENING AND THROUGH TONIGHT FOR
LOCATIONS ALONG AND WEST OF THE ALLEGHENY FRONT.

A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF THE AREA LATE
TONIGHT.

A WIND CHILL WARNING IS IN EFFECT STARTING AT MIDNIGHT FOR AREAS
WEST OF THE ALLEGHENY FRONT. A WIND CHILL ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT
FOR THE REST OF THE POTOMAC HIGHLANDS AND THE BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS
STARTING AT MIDNIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY CONTINUES THROUGH SATURDAY FOR
LOCATIONS ALONG AND WEST OF THE ALLEGHENY FRONT.

THE WIND CHILL WARNING CONTINUES FOR AREAS WEST OF THE ALLEGHENY
FRONT INTO SUNDAY MORNING. THE WIND CHILL ADVISORY ALSO CONTINUES
FOR THE REST OF THE POTOMAC HIGHLANDS AND THE BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS
INTO SUNDAY MORNING. ELSEWHERE WIND CHILL ADVISORIES WILL BE
LIKELY SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING.

THE WIND ADVISORY CONTINUES THROUGH SATURDAY.

SUNDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY...THERE IS A MODERATE THREAT OF A
WINTER STORM WEST OF THE BLUE RIDGE AND AN ENHANCED THREAT OF A
WINTER STORM EAST OF THE BLUE RIDGE. POTENTIAL IMPACTS INCLUDE
SIGNIFICANT TRAVEL DELAYS AND CLOSURES. PLAN AHEAD TO MINIMIZE
IMPACT ON YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
