.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

HEAVY RAIN IS POSSIBLE TODAY WHICH COULD COMBINE WITH SNOWMELT
AND CAUSE A THREAT FOR LOCALIZED FLOODING.

A WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR TONIGHT FOR THE ENTIRE
OUTLOOK AREA WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ALBEMARLE AND NELSON COUNTIES.
A WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THESE COUNTIES DUE TO
UNCERTAINTY WITH THE AMOUNT OF SNOW TO FALL.

WIND CHILL ADVISORIES ARE POSSIBLE...PARTICULARLY FOR RIDGELINES...

* TIMING...RAIN CHANGING TO SNOW AND SLEET LATE TONIGHT. SNOW AND
  SLEET MAY BE HEAVY AT TIMES THURSDAY.

* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BE SNOW COVERED...MAKING TRAVEL
  POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS.

* WINDS...NORTH 5 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE LOWER 30S.
