CENTRAL MARYLAND AND NORTHERN VIRGINIA AS WELL AS THE DISTRICT OF
COLUMBIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A COASTAL FLOOD WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE SOUTHWEST WATERFRONT
OF WASHINGTON DC...SAINT MARYS COUNTY...AND ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY FOR
MODERATE FLOODING AROUND HIGH TIDE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

COASTAL FLOOD WARNINGS CONTINUE FOR ST MARYS AND ANNE ARUNDEL
COUNTIES THROUGH NOON SATURDAY. A COASTAL FLOOD WATCH IS IN
EFFECT FOR ST MARYS AND ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTIES THROUGH MIDNIGHT
SATURDAY NIGHT.

* TIDAL ANOMALY...AROUND 2 FEET ABOVE NORMAL.

* TIMING...AROUND HIGH TIDE THROUGH TONIGHT. COASTAL FLOODING
  WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE WEEKEND AT LEAST AT ALEXANDRIA.

* EXPECTED IMPACTS...MINOR INUNDATION OF LOW LYING SHORELINE. IN
  OLD TOWN ALEXANDRIA...WATER WILL REACH THE INTERSECTION OF
  KING STREET AND UNION STREET WITHIN A COUPLE HOURS OF HIGH
  TIDE.

INDIAN HEAD...8:07 AM AND 8:28 PM...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE.

ALL TIDE HEIGHTS ARE RELATIVE TO MEAN LOWER LOW WATER.
TIME OF HIGH TOTAL TIDES ARE APPROXIMATE TO THE NEAREST HOUR.
