This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Moderate tidal flooding is possible with the high tide early
Sunday morning near Straits Point and Annapolis.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Moderate tidal flooding is possible with the high tide early
Sunday morning near Straits Point and Annapolis.

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM EDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level
  expected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in the District of Columbia, Arlington
  County, and the City of Alexandria.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM EDT Sunday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...Shoreline inundation is expected along portions of the
  seawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point Loop Road,
  and near the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial. Water is
  expected to approach the curb near the intersection of King
  Street and Strand Street in Alexandria.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet above
  normal. High tide at Alexandria is at 12:12 AM overnight and
  12:13 PM Sunday afternoon. High tide at Washington Channel is at
  11:54 PM this evening and 11:55 AM Sunday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
