CENTRAL MARYLAND AND NORTHERN VIRGINIA AS WELL AS THE DISTRICT OF
COLUMBIA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A WINTER STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR TONIGHT FOR THE ENTIRE
OUTLOOK AREA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

THE WINTER STORM WARNINGS REMAIN IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY
EVENING.

WIND CHILL ADVISORIES ARE POSSIBLE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY.

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 10 PM EST
THURSDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BALTIMORE MD/WASHINGTON HAS
ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR SNOW AND SLEET...WHICH IS IN
EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 10 PM EST THURSDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS
NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* PRECIPITATION TYPES...WINTRY MIX...THEN SNOW...POTENTIALLY
  HEAVY AT TIMES.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 3 TO 6 INCHES...ALONG WITH
  AROUND A TRACE OF ICE.

* TIMING...RAIN CHANGING TO SNOW AND SLEET LATE TONIGHT. SNOW AND
  SLEET WILL TRANSITION TO ALL SNOW BY MIDDAY THURSDAY. SNOW AND
  SLEET MAY BE HEAVY AT TIMES.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE MID 30S...DROPPING INTO THE MID 20S.

* WINDS...NORTH 10 TO 15 MPH.

* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BE SNOW COVERED...MAKING TRAVEL DANGEROUS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW...
SLEET...AND ICE ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. STRONG WINDS ARE ALSO
POSSIBLE.  THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR IMPOSSIBLE.
