A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EST
TONIGHT.

* AREAS AFFECTED: CENTRAL AND EASTERN VIRGINIA.

* HAZARDS: SNOW AND SLEET.

* TIMING: SNOW CONTINUES THIS EVENING...ENDING BY 7 PM TO 9 PM
  THIS EVENING.

* ACCUMULATION: SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATION OF 1 TO 3 INCHES...
  WITH HIGHEST TOTALS ALONG AND NORTH OF THE RICHMOND METRO
  AREA. ACCUMULATIONS WILL TAPER TO 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SLEET AND
  SNOW OVER SOUTHERN AND EASTERN SECTIONS...WHERE A MORE
  SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATION OF SLEET IS EXPECTED. TRACE AMOUNTS
  OF ICE ARE ALSO EXPECTED.

* TEMPERATURES: FALLING INTO THE UPPER 20S BY EARLY THURSDAY
  EVENING.

* WINDS: NORTH 15 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH.

* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL REMAIN SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY.
  VISIBILITY WILL BE REDUCED BELOW ONE-QUARTER MILE AT TIMES...
  MAKING TRAVELING DANGEROUS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
