THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BURLINGTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM MONDAY
TO 1 AM EST TUESDAY.

* LOCATIONS...SOUTHWESTERN ST LAWRENCE...FRANKLIN AND CLINTON
  COUNTIES IN NORTHERN NEW YORK...NORTHWEST...NORTH CENTRAL AND
  NORTHEAST VERMONT.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW.

* MAXIMUM SNOWFALL RATE...UP TO 1 INCH PER HOUR...MAINLY MONDAY
  MORNING THROUGH EARLY MONDAY AFTERNOON.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL DEVELOP DURING THE PRE-DAWN HOURS ON
  MONDAY...AND CONTINUE THROUGHOUT MUCH OF THE DAY. SNOW SHOULD
  TAPER OFF TO SNOW SHOWERS FROM WEST TO EAST MONDAY EVENING.

* IMPACTS...DIFFICULT TRAVEL CONDITIONS OWING TO SNOW COVERED
  ROADWAYS AND LOW VISIBILITY.

* WINDS...NORTH 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...LOWS TONIGHT 9 BELOW TO 16 BELOW ZERO. HIGHS ON
  MONDAY 2 TO 8 ABOVE.

* VISIBILITIES...DOWN TO ONE-HALF MILE AT TIMES DURING THE DAY
  MONDAY.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL
