AFTERNOON ABOVE 3500 FEET AND UNTIL 6 AM PDT THURSDAY ABOVE 5000
FEET FOR THE SOUTH WASHINGTON AND NORTH OREGON CASCADES...

THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY ABOVE 3500 FEET FOR SNOW REMAINS IN
EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM PDT THIS AFTERNOON...AND IS NOW IN EFFECT ABOVE
5000 FEET UNTIL 6 AM PDT THURSDAY.

* TIMING...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

* ACCUMULATION...FROM 4 TO 9 INCHES EXPECTED FOR THE SOUTH
  WASHINGTON CASCADES AND THE NORTH OREGON CASCADES NORTH OF MOUNT
  JEFFERSON TODAY...WITH ANOTHER 4 TO 9 INCHES POSSIBLE TONIGHT.

* SNOW LEVELS...AROUND 3500 FEET THIS MORNING RISING TO 5000 FEET
  TONIGHT...THUS RISING ABOVE PASS ELEVATIONS OVERNIGHT TONIGHT
  BUT STILL SNOWING AT SKI RESORT ELEVATIONS.

* IMPACTS...DRIVERS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR ICY OR SNOW COVERED
  ROADS AND WINTER LIKE DRIVING CONDITIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
