...WIDESPREAD SNOW TODAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

.A WARM FRONT WILL SPREAD MOISTURE EAST OF THE CASCADES TODAY.
THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING WIDESPREAD SNOW TODAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
TONIGHT AND FRIDAY...THE WARM FRONT WILL OVERRIDE THE COLD AIR
AT THE SURFACE AND BRING AREAS OF SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN TO THE
LOWER ELEVATIONS. SIGNIFICANT SNOW CAN BE EXPECTED IN SOME AREAS
OF EASTERN WASHINGTON AND EASTERN OREGON.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 5 INCHES.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH.

* LOCATIONS...PENDLETON...PILOT ROCK...BOARDMAN...HERMISTON...
  IONE...CONNELL...PROSSER...TRI-CITIES...DAYTON...WAITSBURG...
  WALLA WALLA...ELLENSBURG...THORP...NACHES...SUNNYSIDE...
  TOPPENISH...YAKIMA.

* SNOW LEVEL...BASIN FLOOR.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE LOWER TO MID 20S.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL DEVELOP BY LATE THIS MORNING THEN INCREASE
  IN INTENSITY DURING THE AFTERNOON. SNOWFALL WILL DIMINISH LATE
  THIS EVENING. IN ADDITION...A LIGHT WINTRY MIX OF SNOW...SLEET
  AND FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED TONIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...AREA ROADWAYS WILL BE SNOW COVERED AND SLICK.
  LOCALIZED BLOWING SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE.

* WINDS...NORTHEAST 5 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.
