...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 AM PST FOR
SOUTHEASTERN KITSAP...SOUTHERN MASON...SOUTHWESTERN SNOHOMISH...
NORTHWESTERN PIERCE...WESTERN KING AND NORTHWESTERN THURSTON
COUNTIES...

At 736 AM PST, Doppler radar continues to show heavy rainfall over
the central Puget Sound region. This area has already seen 1.50 to
2.50 inches of rain and will see another inch of rain before it
tapers off later this morning.

Some ponding is already been reported on area roadways. These
conditions will continue through the morning commute.

Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
Seattle, Tacoma, Bellevue, Kent, Federal Way, Auburn, Olympia,
Edmonds, Bremerton, Puyallup, Shelton, Belfair, Renton, Redmond,
Kirkland, Sammamish, Lacey, Lynnwood, Bothell and Burien.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
