...HEAVY RAIN IN THE MOUNT BAKER AREA THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
MORNING WILL CAUSE THE NOOKSACK RIVER TO RISE...

PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN WILL FALL IN THE NORTHWEST INTERIOR OF
WESTERN WASHINGTON AND THE NORTH CASCADES THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
MORNING. THE HEAVIEST RAIN WILL FALL AROUND MOUNT BAKER...WHERE 2
TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE. THE SNOW LEVEL WILL BE 7000 TO
8500 FEET AS THE STORM MOVES THROUGH.

THESE RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL CAUSE THE NOOKSACK RIVER TO RISE
CONSIDERABLY. FLOODING LOOKS UNLIKELY...BUT IT IS NOT OUT OF THE
QUESTION.
