This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Snow is expected to move into central and north central Wisconsin
this evening and eastern Wisconsin mainly after midnight. As warmer
air aloft moves into the region later tonight, the snow will mix
with sleet and freezing rain especially in the Fox Valley and
lakeshore areas. Areas north of a Wausau to Crivitz line could see
2 to 3 inches of snow, with less snow but a tenth of an inch of
sleet or freezing rain elsewhere. Travel could be difficult for
the Friday morning commute. AIr travel delays are likely.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Another system is forecast to bring a second round of wintry weather
to the region Saturday afternoon into Saturday night. It is too early
to determine precipitation types or amounts with this system.

Spotters are requested to forward snow and ice measurements to the
National Weather Service in Green Bay.

...WINTER WEATHER WILL SLOW TRAVEL TONIGHT AND EARLY FRIDAY...

.A strong upper level disturbance will brings a mix of snow, sleet,
freezing rain and rain to the region tonight and early Friday.
Mostly snow is expected north of a Wausau to Iron Mountain line,
with less snow and more sleet and freezing rain further east. Rain
is possible near the lakeshore south of Algoma. Travel could be
hazardous for the commute to work or school friday morning, and
some air travel delays are possible.

* WHAT...Snow, possibly mixed with sleet. Total snow
  accumulations of 2 to 3 inches are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Wisconsin.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 9 AM CST Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions,
  including during the morning commute on Friday. Be prepared
  for reduced visibilities at times.

freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
