.NOW...
...WET WEATHER EXPECTED TO CONTINUE INTO THIS EVENING...

PERIODS OF RAIN WILL CONTINUE ACROSS CENTRAL...NORTHEAST...AND EAST-
CENTRAL WISCONSIN FOR THE REST OF THE LATE AFTERNOON HOURS...AND INTO
THE EARLY EVENING HOURS. ALTHOUGH THE RAIN IS NOT EXPECTED TO BE
HEAVY...IT WILL BE PERSISTENT. THE COMBINATION OF THE RAIN AND EAST
WINDS WILL MAKE IT FEEL VERY CHILLY AND DAMP. TEMPERATURES SHOULD HOLD
IN THE UPPER 30S TO LOWER 40S THROUGH THIS EVENING.

ACROSS FAR NORTHERN WISCONSIN...GENERALLY FROM RHINELANDER TO CRANDON
NORTHWARD...TEMPERATURES WERE EVEN COLDER. THIS WAS CAUSING THE
PRECIPITATION TO FALL AS A MIX OF RAIN AND WET SNOW. IN GENERAL...THE
PRECIPITATION WAS FALLING AS RAIN OR DRIZZLE WHEN IT WAS LIGHT...BUT
CHANGING TO SNOW WHEN THE INTENSITY INCREASED. SOME WET SLUSHY SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS WERE OCCURRING ON GRASSY AREAS. LITTLE CHANGE IN THESE
CONDITIONS IS ANTICIPATED FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS.

ANYONE TRAVELING ACROSS THE AREA LATE THIS AFTERNOON OR THIS EVENING
SHOULD EXPECT TO ENCOUNTER WET ROADS. BE SURE TO DRIVE APPROPRIATELY...
MAINTAINING A SAFE DISTANCE BETWEEN YOUR VEHICLE AND THE OTHERS ON THE
ROAD.
