THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MILWAUKEE/SULLIVAN HAS ISSUED A

* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  CENTRAL DANE COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN...

* UNTIL 600 AM CDT

* AT 407 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
  THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING IN
  THE ADVISORY AREA. UP TO ONE AND ONE HALF INCHES OF RAIN HAS
  ALREADY FALLEN IN THE DOWNTOWN MADISON AREA.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  MADISON...SUN PRAIRIE...FITCHBURG...MIDDLETON...STOUGHTON...
  WAUNAKEE...VERONA...OREGON...MCFARLAND...MONONA...WINDSOR...
  COTTAGE GROVE...SHOREWOOD HILLS...MAPLE BLUFF...TOKEN CREEK...
  UW-MADISON...CAMP RANDALL STADIUM...PAOLI AND HENRY VILAS ZOO.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES IS EXPECTED OVER THE AREA
DURING THE NEXT 2 HOURS. THIS ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL MAKE MINOR
FLOODING OF URBAN AREAS AND LOW LYING AREAS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND
UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.

THE THREAT OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IS VERY LOW.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THURSDAY.
