...WINTRY MIX AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS ARRIVING QUICKLY...

AN AREA OF RAIN OUT ACROSS MINNESOTA AND IOWA WILL PUSH INTO THE
AREA QUICKLY THIS MORNING. THE RAIN WILL CROSS THE MISSISSIPPI
RIVER BY AROUND 6 AM...REACHING MADISON BETWEEN 8 AND 9 AM AND
EVENTUALLY THE MILWAUKEE METRO AREA BY 10 TO 11 AM. THIS FIRST
ROUND OF PRECIPITATION WILL LAST ABOUT 2 TO 3 HOURS...FOLLOWED BY
A LULL IN THE ACTIVITY...WITH MORE SHOWERS EXPECTED THIS
AFTERNOON.

TEMPERATURES EARLY THIS MORNING WILL BE HOVERING NEAR FREEZING IN
SOME SPOTS AND PAVEMENT TEMPERATURES ARE GENERALLY BELOW FREEZING
AS WELL. THIS COULD LEAD TO A SHORT PERIOD OF ICY ROADS AND
SIDEWALKS BEFORE TEMPERATURES RISE QUICKLY THROUGH MID MORNING.

IF YOU/RE HEADED OUT EARLY THIS MORNING...BE PREPARED FOR THE
POTENTIAL OF ICY CONDITIONS.

THOSE WARMING TEMPERATURES WILL BE HELPED ALONG BY A VERY STRONG
SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WIND THAT WILL DEVELOP VERY QUICKLY THIS
MORNING. EXPECT WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH A FEW GUSTS REACHING 40
MPH AT A FEW LOCATIONS. THE WINDS WILL PEAK FROM MID MORNING
THROUGH MID AFTERNOON...THEN STEADILY DIMINISH INTO THE EVENING
AND OVERNIGHT HOURS.

HANG IN THERE...DRIER AND MILDER WEATHER RETURNS THIS WEEK.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL
WISCONSIN...SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN AND SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A SHORT PERIOD OF A WINTRY MIX CONTAINING SOME SNOW...SLEET AND
FREEZING RAIN IS LIKELY THIS MORNING. ROADS COULD BECOME SLIPPERY
FOR A TIME. THE MIX WILL TRANSITION OVER TO ALL RAIN BY LATE
MORNING WITH AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES RISING INTO THE 40S.

SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 20 TO 30 MPH THIS
MORNING WITH A FEW GUSTS POSSIBLY REACHING 40 MPH. LOOK FOR THE
WINDS TO SLOWLY SUBSIDE BY MID AFTERNOON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
