...REPLACES RIVER FLOOD WATCH...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Fox River Lower near New Munster.
* WHEN...From Thursday morning to Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Water is up to the first floor levels of
some homes in the Town of Wheatland and Village of Salem Lakes
area along Riverside Drive and Shorewood Drive.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 10.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning to a crest of 11.9 feet early Saturday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday
morning.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
11.7 feet on 05/10/2019.
