This hazardous weather outlook is for southeast Wyoming.


Periods of strong gusty winds are expected across the wind prone
areas along Interstate 80 and Interstate 25 today. A High Wind
Warning is in effect for portions of Interstate 80 between Laramie
and Rawlins, Cheyenne and Laramie, and Interstate 25 between
Chugwater and Wheatland for strong winds up to 65 MPH.


A strong cold front will sweep across the region Wednesday night
and Thursday. This front will be accompanied by widespread
accumulating snowfall, some drifting snow, and much colder
temperatures. Morning lows in the single digits below zero are
possible Friday.

An arctic cold front is forecast to move into the region during
the weekend bringing more snowfall and the potential for bitter
cold temperatures. Those with early holiday travel plans late
this week and into the weekend should continue to monitor the
latest weather forecasts.
