NORTHWESTERN STEUBEN COUNTY...

AT 304 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THAT THE HEAVY RAINFALL HAS ENDED IN NORTHWEST STEUBEN COUNTY. ONLY
A FEW LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING
HOURS. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED THAT BETWEEN 4 AND 6 INCHES OF RAIN
HAS FALLEN IN THE AREA FROM COHOCTON AND ATLANTA TO WAYLAND...
PERKINSVILLE AND SOUTH DANSVILLE. RUNOFF FROM THIS RAINFALL HAS
CAUSED SIGNIFICANT FLASH FLOODING IN THESE AREAS. MANY ROADS ARE
CLOSED AND SEVERAL HOMES ARE EITHER FLOODED OR SURROUNDED BY FLOOD
WATERS.

SINCE THE HEAVY RAIN HAS ENDED...THE WATERS ARE NOW BEGINNING TO
