* Until 1030 AM EDT.
* At 926 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located along a line extending from 21 nm west of
St. Marks to 10 nm northwest of Marker 24 Barge to 7 nm northwest
of Buckeye Reef, moving north at 30 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage
vessels...and create suddenly higher waves. Make sure all
on board are in a secure location and wearing life
jackets. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34
knots...suddenly higher waves...frequent lightning...and
heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life
jackets.

counties, Bulloch, Candler, Evans, Jenkins, Screven and Tattnall.
* WHEN...Until 1215 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1016 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Reidsville, Metter, Millen, Butts, Hagan, Portal, Collins,
Cobbtown, Pulaski and Register.

to 33 knots, or seas of 7 feet or greater, are expected to
produce hazardous conditions for small craft. These hazardous
conditions may result in poor vessel handling and steering
response, broaching, overturned dinghies and kayaks, slips and
falls on slippery decks, rub damage along docks and seawalls,
and dragging anchors.

totals of 2" to 6" of rain are forecast with localized
amounts of 10" or more possible. Three-hour flash flood
guidance is generally between 3" to 5", which is attainable
within any of the rounds of showers and storms expected
through late Sunday night into Monday morning.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight...
Heavy rainfall is possible in central and north Georgia today. A
Flood Watch has been issued for west central Georgia where the
highest risk of flash flooding exists.
Thunderstorms will return to north and central Georgia today.
Isolated strong to severe storms could produce damaging winds in
central Georgia this afternoon. A second round of thunderstorms
should develop tonight. A brief nocturnal tornado spin-up,
damaging winds and or hail may occur with tonight`s storms.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday...
Isolated severe storms are possible Monday. All hazards, including
damaging winds, hail or a brief tornado are possible.
Rain showers and thunderstorms will continue in Georgia through
Wednesday. This will lead to widespread rainfall totals between 2
and 4 inches, with localized amounts over 5 inches. Rising river
levels and some limited river flooding may develop.
