...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Wisconsin...Illinois...

  Fox River Lower Near New Munster affecting Lake and Kenosha
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Fox River Lower near New Munster.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Floodwaters begin to affect 77th St. in
  the Town of Wheatland. Floodwaters are near some homes along
  Riverside Dr, Shorewood Dr, and Highway W in the Village of Salem
  Lakes and Town of Wheatland areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 10.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.0
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just
    after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    11.0 feet on 03/11/2020.

precipitation, soil moisture conditions, and predicted
precipitation for the basin. Precipitation is for the next 24 hours

...REPLACES RIVER FLOOD WATCH...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S.

* WHEN...From Friday afternoon to Friday, May 17.

* IMPACTS...At 11.5 feet, Moderate Flood Stage. Water affects homes
  along old U.S. Highway 61.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.3 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage early
    tomorrow afternoon. A double crest will occur, the first at
    11.3 feet early Saturday afternoon. After falling to flood
    stage, the second crest of 11.4 feet is forecast for
    Wednesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

...Dense fog possible in river valleys this morning...

If traveling this morning, remain aware of localized dense fog
through about 8 am. It mainly extends from northeast Iowa into
southwest and central Wisconsin, along and south of Interstate 90.
Thickest fog and lowest visibilities reside in river valleys.

The fog can rapidly reduce visibilities to 1/4 mile or less.
Expect the fog to dissipate by 8 am.

Slow down and have your headlights on if you encounter the fog.

this evening into tonight. Severe weather is not expected, but a
few of the storms could produce gusty winds around 40 mph.

Some tributary rivers in eastern Iowa may rise above flood stage
over the next several days. Please refer to the latest river

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

Isolated thunderstorms are possible Sunday afternoon into Sunday
night. At this time, severe weather is not anticipated.

There will be a chance of thunderstorms from Sunday afternoon
into Sunday night. The probability of severe weather is low, but
strong storms are possible.
