* ARROYO AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  NORTHWESTERN CATRON COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO...

* UNTIL 1215 AM MDT

* AT 918 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  HEAVY RAIN DUE TO THUNDERSTORMS OVER WESTERN CATRON COUNTY. UP TO
  TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN WITH STORMS CONTINUING TO
  PRODUCE DOWNPOURS. THIS WILL LEAD TO EXCESSIVE RUNOFF INTO THE
  CENTERFIRE CREEK...JENKINS CREEK...TROUT CREEK...DILLMAN
  CREEK...THE SPRINGS DRAW...AND OTHER ARROYOS AND DRAINAGES NEAR
  AND SOUTH OF RED HILL.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  RED HILL.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THE HEAVY RAINFALL AND SLOW MOVEMENT OF THESE STORMS MAY RESULT IN
FLOODING OF ROAD INTERSECTIONS AND LOW-LYING
AREAS.  WATERS MAY BEGIN TO RUN IN NORMALLY DRY ARROYOS.

  NORTHEASTERN MCKINLEY COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO...

* UNTIL 1030 PM MDT

* AT 831 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  HEAVY RAIN DUE TO THUNDERSTORMS OVER AND NEAR THE SAN MATEO
  MOUNTAINS AND MESA CHIVATO. ARROYOS MAINLY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF
  THE SAN MATEO MOUNTAINS MAY CONTAIN FAST FLOWING WATER. COUNTY
  ROADS 19 AND 42 AS WELL AS FOREST ROADS 239 AND 556 WILL BE
  AFFECTED.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BOTH LOCALIZED AND DISTANT HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CREATE DANGEROUS
FLOWS IN ARROYOS AND OVER LOW WATER CROSSINGS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
DRIVE THROUGH THESE WATERS.  WATER IN ARROYOS MAY TRAVEL MANY MILES
AND TAKE HOURS TO REACH YOUR LOCATION FROM UPSTREAM RAIN AREAS.
