This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening for
portions of the Panhandles. A few storms could be severe with
damaging winds being the main threat.

A Heat Advisory is in effect for Palo Duro Canyon from 1 PM to 8
PM as heat index values are expected to reach up to 105 degrees.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

There is chance for thunderstorms across the northern and eastern
Panhandles on Tuesday. Strong to severe thunderstorms will be
possible with large hail and damaging winds the primary hazards.

A Heat Advisory is in effect for Palo Duro Canyon from 1 PM to 8
PM on Tuesday as heat index values are expected to reach up to
108 degrees.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hot conditions are expected today with highs reaching into the upper
90s to 100.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Hot conditions are expected again Tuesday, with temperatures
potentially reaching heat advisory criteria.

There is a low chance of thunderstorms in the Rolling Plains late
Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Some storms may be severe Tuesday,
with damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph and large hail up to ping pong
ball size possible.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Critical fire weather conditions are expected today across
portions of the higher terrain and San Luis Valley. Humidity
values will be near or below 10 percent, with breezy winds near 25
to 30 mph and hot temperatures. There is a low, but non-zero
chance (about 10%) for an isolated thunderstorm near the Kansas
border late this evening. Main threats would be strong outflow
winds and frequent lightning, along with some brief hail up to 1
inch in diameter.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible Tuesday
across the southeast plains with the greatest risk along and east
of a line from Colorado Springs, to La Junta to Pritchett. Large
hail up to 2 inches in diameter, damaging winds up to 70 mph and
locally heavy rainfall will be the primary storm risks. Although
the risk is low, an isolated tornado will be possible, especially
near the Kansas border.

Warmer and drier weather will return for late week into next
weekend with the potential for temperatures breaching 100 degrees
across the lower Arkansas River Valley Friday and Saturday.
Spotty critical fire weather conditions will be possible each day,
becoming more widespread Friday and Saturday out west where
drought conditions have been more persistent across the eastern
San Juan and La Garita mountains and the San Luis Valley.

be possible over portions of the region.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Red Flag Warnings are in effect for a large portion of eastern UT
and western CO as hot, dry, and windy conditions return this
afternoon. Unseasonably warm temperatures remain in the forecast
reaching 10 to 15 degrees above climatological norms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Critical fire weather concerns look to shift mainly to west-central
Colorado on Tuesday. Slightly cooler conditions move for the mid-week
period helping to localize high fire danger. The hot, dry and windy
conditions then return to end out the week.
