...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EDT FOR
SOUTHERN CLINTON...SOUTHEASTERN FRANKLIN AND NORTHWESTERN ESSEX
COUNTIES...

AT 557 PM EDT...THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL HAD MOVED OUT OF SOUTHEASTERN
FRANKLIN COUNTY AND WAS BEGINING TO DIMINISH OVER SOUTHERN CLINTON
AND NORTHWEST ESSEX COUNTY. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTED THREE TO
FOUR INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN AND ROAD CLOSURES DUE TO FLASH
FLOODING. ALTHOUGH RAIN WILL BE COMING TO AN END THROUGH THE
EVENING, FLASH FLOODING WILL CONTINUE. IF YOU ARE TRAVELING THIS
EVENING IN THE NORTHEAST ADIRONDACKS DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH
FLOODED ROADWAYS. FIND AN ALTERNATE ROUTE.

REGIS...WOLF POND...STANDISH...CUMBERLAND BAY STATE PARK...
CADYVILLE...SOUTH PLATTSBURGH...PAUL SMITHS AND WAWBEEK.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...FARMLAND...AND OTHER LOW LYING
SPOTS.

PLEASE REPORT FLOODING TO YOUR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY WHEN YOU
CAN DO SO SAFELY.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.

  WEST CENTRAL DELAWARE COUNTY IN CENTRAL NEW YORK...

* UNTIL 1045 PM EDT TUESDAY

* AT 443 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING
  HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. RADAR ESTIMATED 3.5 TO 4.5
  INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN SO FAR THIS AFTERNOON.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  WALTON...COLCHESTER...TROUT CREEK...OQUAGA CREEK STATE PARK...LOOMIS...
