  MANISTEE RIVER NEAR SHERMAN AFFECTING WEXFORD COUNTY

.RIVER STAGES CONTINUE TO FALL ON THE MANISTEE RIVER AT LATE
MORNING...AND ARE FORECAST TO CONTINUE TO DO SO THROUGH
TONIGHT.  THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE
THIS EVENING.

* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 15.0 FEET.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO FALL TO BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY
  LATE THIS AFTERNOON.
* IMPACT...AT 15.0 FEET...FLOODING BEGINS AROUND THE WILDERNESS CANOE
  LIVERY ALONG LEFT BANK OF RIVER JUST DOWNSTREAM OF M-37 BRIDGE.

* IMPACT...AT 10.5 FEET...EXPECT MINOR FLOODING OF HOMES UPSTREAM OF
  NEWAYGO ALONG MAIN STREET IN THE DEVILS HOLE AREA.  EXPECT MINOR
  FLOODING OF HOMES DOWNSTREAM OF NEWAYGO ON FELCH AVENUE IN THE
  ANDERSON FLATS AREA...WEST SUGAR BUSH LANE AND SYCAMORE STREET IN
  ASHLAND TOWNSHIP...RIVERVIEW DRIVE...RIVERMAN DRIVE...SOUTH
  RIVER DRIVE AND BELL MEADOW DRIVE IN BRIDGETON TOWNSHIP...AND MAIN
  STREET IN THE LOWER BRIDGETON AREA.  SALMON RUN CAMPGROUND LOSES
  ACCESS DRIVE AND RIVER LANE BECOMES IMPASSABLE IN THE OLD WOMANS
  BEND AREA.
