...LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST
THIS AFTERNOON...

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * MODERATE LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE
   MORNING BEFORE DIMINISHING IN THE AFTERNOON.

 * NORTH WINDS GUSTING AS HIGH AS 25 TO 30 MPH THIS MORNING WILL
   CAUSE PATCHY BLOWING SNOW...MAINLY NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR AND IN
   OPEN AREAS OF WESTERN ALGER COUNTY.

 * PLAN ON ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES.

IMPACTS...

 * THE SNOW AND PATCHY BLOWING SNOW WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS
   DRIVING CONDITIONS THROUGH THIS MORNING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 * A LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY MEANS LAKE EFFECT SNOW IS
   FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT IN SOME AREAS.
