...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST
SATURDAY...

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * MODERATE LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS ALGER COUNTY TODAY
   WHILE A BAND OF HEAVY SNOW MOVES EAST ACROSS THE COUNTY. SNOW WILL
   GRADUALLY DIMINISH TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING.

 * EXPECT ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL OF 3 TO 6 INCHES TODAY OVER MOST OF
   ALGER COUNTY...WITH ISOLATED AMOUNTS UP TO 9 INCHES POSSIBLE NEAR
   AND EAST OF MUNISING. FOR TONIGHT...EXPECT AN ADDITIONAL 2 TO 6
   INCHES EAST OF A LINE FROM MUNISING TO SHINGETON AND LITTLE TO NO
   SNOW WEST OF THAT LINE.

IMPACTS...

 * ROADS WILL BE SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY.

 * MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES
   TO LESS THAN ONE-QUARTER MILE AT TIMES. THE LOWEST VISIBILITIES
   WILL OCCUR TODAY.

 * A LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF LAKE-
   EFFECT SNOW ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS

   HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED THIS MORNING OVER EASTERN PORTIONS OF
   MARQUETTE COUNTY.

 * EXPECT ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL TODAY OF 1 TO 6 INCHES NEAR LAKE
   SUPERIOR...GREATEST EAST OF SKANDIA AND MOSTLY IN THE MORNING.
   LITTLE TO NO SNOW IS EXPECTED WELL INLAND.

 * ROADS COVERED WITH SNOW WILL REMAIN SLIPPERY.

 * MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW AND PATCHY BLOWING SNOW WILL REDUCE
   VISIBILITIES...ESPECIALLY EAST OVER FAR EASTERN PORTIONS OF
   MARQUETTE COUNTY THIS MORNING.
