URGENT - MARINE WEATHER MESSAGE

936 AM CDT SAT APR 25 2015

...BRISK NORTHEAST WINDS CAUSING HIGHER WAVES TODAY INTO
TONIGHT...

.LOW PRESSURE WILL PASS WELL SOUTH OF LAKE MICHIGAN TODAY AND
TONIGHT. A TIGHTENING PRESSURE GRADIENT TO THE NORTH OF THE LOW
WILL RESULT IN GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS. THESE GUSTY WINDS WILL
CAUSE HIGHER WAVES IN THE NEARSHORE WATERS. BOTH WINDS AND WAVES
WILL SUBSIDE A BIT TONIGHT AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS INTO THE
WESTERN GREAT LAKES AND THE LOW PRESSURE AREA MOVES FARTHER EAST
TOWARD THE EAST COAST.

  KNOTS...LINGERING INTO TONIGHT BEFORE DIMINISHING.

* WAVES: BUILDING TO 3 TO 5 FEET TODAY AND TONIGHT. WAVES WILL
  SLOWLY SUBSIDE BY SUNDAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 23 TO 33 KNOTS
AND/OR WAVES GREATER THAN 4 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE
HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...
ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID
NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.

WITH HIGH PRESSURE RIDGING SOUTHEAST THROUGH ONTARIO TO PRODUCE
GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS AND BUILDING WAVES THIS AFTERNOON. WINDS
WILL START TO DIMINISH...AND WAVES START TO SUBSIDE...THIS
EVENING AS THE STORM PULLS AWAY FROM THE REGION.

  TO 25 KNOTS FOR THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING HOURS.

* WAVES WILL BUILD TO 3 TO 5 FEET. THE HIGHEST WAVES WILL BE AT
  THE SOUTH END OF THE BAY AND ON LAKE MICHIGAN SOUTH OF
  KEWAUNEE.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OVER 20 KNOTS OR
WAVES GREATER THAN 4 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS
CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY
THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE
CONDITIONS.
