CENTRAL AND NORTHERN MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN...

.A VERY WARM AND MOIST AIRMASS SOUTH OF A WARM FRONT JUST TO OUR
SOUTH WILL MOVE NORTHWARD TODAY AND TONIGHT. AS MOISTURE AND LIFT
IN THE ATMOSPHERE INCREASE WITH THE APPROACH OF AN UPPER LEVEL
DISTURBANCE...WIDESPREAD THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AND
PERSIST ALONG AND NORTH OF THE WARM FRONT ACROSS PARTS OF CENTRAL
AND NORTHERN MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN DURING THE DAY
TODAY AND PERSIST INTO TONIGHT. AREAS SOUTH OF THE HIGHWAY 2
CORRIDOR WILL BE AT RISK OF HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLASH FLOODING

* FROM NOON CDT TODAY THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY MORNING

* WIDESPREAD THUNDERSTORMS AND HEAVY RAINFALL ARE POSSIBLE
  BEGINNING THIS AFTERNOON AND CONTINUING THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY
  MORNING ALONG A WARM FRONT ACROSS CENTRAL MINNESOTA.

.A FLASH FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND
EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA AS WELL AS PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL
WISCONSIN FOR SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT.
CONDITIONS ARE BECOMING CONDUCIVE FOR ANOTHER HEAVY RAINFALL EVENT
THAT MAY AFFECT PORTIONS OF CENTRAL MINNESOTA INTO WEST CENTRAL
WISCONSIN. AN ABNORMALLY HIGH WATER CONTENT IN THE
ATMOSPHERE...COMBINED WITH AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT FROM THE
DAKOTAS...WILL CREATE CONDITIONS TO SUPPORT FLASH FLOODING.
