DISCUSSION...
Waves of showers and storms are expected throughout the day.
The strongest storms in the morning will be capable of large hail
and damaging winds.
Any storms that develop in the afternoon will be capable of all
severe hazards, including damaging winds, large hail, and
tornadoes.
Repeated rounds of storms over the same areas may also lead
to localized flooding of poor drainage and low lying areas.

Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

Moderate to heavy snow will continue or develop across much of
central to northern Minnesota into extreme northwest Wisconsin.
A wintry mix, including sleet, light freezing rain, and rain is
expected to develop east- central Minnesota and northwest
Wisconsin through the day. Winter Storm Warnings and Winter
Weather Advisories remain in effect. The precipitation will
diminish in intensity and coverage tonight into Thursday morning.
A few thunderstorm are possible today. Northwest Wisconsin may
see some small hail embedded with these storms.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

Accumulating snow and ice are possible in portions of western and
central Minnesota today as phase 2 of our weather system moves
through. Gusty winds are also expected in southern Minnesota. Both
end early Thursday morning as the system passes to the northeast.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
A wintry mix of precipitation is expected this morning. A
widespread 2 to 5 inches of snow is forecast, with a few
hundredths of an inch of ice accumulation possible in central and
north-central Wisconsin. The combination of snow, minor ice
accumulations, and gusty winds could create additional power
outages and make the morning commute snow covered and slippery. A
Winter Weather Advisory continues for areas north and west of the
Fox Valley.
There is a chance of thunderstorms late this morning through early
this evening. A few strong storms capable of producing hail and
gusty winds are possible, mainly in central and east- central
Wisconsin.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday
Rainfall and runoff will likely lead to rises on area rivers,
which may lead to minor flooding at a few locations late this
week.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
A potent storm system will continue to impact the area during the
day on Wednesday with thunderstorms moving across the area
Wednesday morning into the early afternoon. There is an Enhanced
or level 3 out of 5 risk of severe storms for Henry, Bureau, and
Putnam Counties There is a Slight or level 2 out of 5 risk of
severe storms across the west of the Illinois Counties and west of
the Mississippi River. Damaging winds and large hail are the main
threats but tornadoes cannot be ruled out.
In addition, there is a wind advisory for Wednesday afternoon
across western Illinois along and south of Interstate 80, eastern
Iowa, and northeast Missouri for southwest winds gusting of 45 to
50 mph.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.
