RAINFALL IN THE PAST 48 HOURS. PERIODS OF LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN ARE
EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT WITH ADDITIONAL TOTALS OF
1 TO 2.5 INCHES POSSIBLE. SATURATED GROUNDS WILL CAUSE THE WATER TO
RUN OFF AND DITCHES AND LOW WATER CROSSING AREAS WILL FILL UP AND
OVERFLOW. SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS WILL ALSO FILL UP AND RISE OUT
OF THEIR BANKS. IT TAKES A FEW DAYS TO DRAIN ALL THE WATER OUT AND
ALTHOUGH THE RAIN WILL END SUNDAY NIGHT THE HIGH WATER WILL REMAIN

AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. FLOOD WATERS ARE USUALLY
DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS POWERFUL
ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED
ROADS MAKE THE SMART CHOICE...TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN.
