  WILLOW CREEK NEAR WILLOW CITY AFFECTING MCHENRY AND BOTTINEAU
  COUNTIES

FOR THE SOURIS RIVER NEAR FOXHOLM AND THE WILLOW CREEK NEAR WILLOW
CITY...MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.

.AS OF SUNDAY MORNING...LAKE DARLING IS CURRENTLY RELEASING APPROXIMATELY
870 CFS. THIS PLACES THE SOURIS RIVER BELOW LAKE DARLING NEAR FOXHOLM
JUST BELOW FLOOD STAGE AT 9.8 FEET. RAIN SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY MAY CAUSE THE RIVER TO RISE TO MINOR FLOOD
STAGE OF 10.0 FEET. THE WILLOW CREEK NEAR WILLOW CITY IS EXPECTED
TO CONTINUE TO SLOWLY FALL BUT REMAIN ABOVE FLOOD STAGE OF 10.0 FEET
THROUGH MID WEEK.
