This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western South
Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Strong northwest winds expected today with widespread gusts of 45
to 50 mph. Gusts of up to 60 mph are possible over the plains
north and east of the Black Hills. In addition to the winds, light
snow is possible this morning though any accumulations are
expected to be less than an inch.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

North Dakota. Areas west of the Red River Valley could see a
dusting to near 1 inch.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

Winds out of the north to northwest with gust of 35 to 45 mph through
this afternoon. The strongest winds are expected along and west of
the Missouri River.

central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

Light snow and rain/snow mix will continue through this afternoon.
Snow accumulation up to an inch or two is possible over portions of
northeastern South Dakota. Snow may melt as the ground remains
relatively warm, however, slick side roads, bridges, and overpasses
are possible.
