The Flood Warning continues for the Tennessee River
at Savannah.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A followup Flood Statement will be issued Wednesday.

www.weather.gov and click near Memphis on the map. Then select Rivers
and Lakes AHPS under current conditions.

Do not drive through flooded areas...turn around don`t drown.

  the Tennessee River at Savannah
* until Thursday February 11.
* At 8 PM Tuesday the stage was 371.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 370.0 feet.
* At 371.0 feet...Federal Road is flooded at Lick Creek north of
  Hamburg. Parts of Lacefield Drive are covered by flood water.

  the Tombigbee River Near Coffeeville Dam
* until Thursday morning.
* At 07PM Tuesday the stage was 32.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by early Thursday
  morning.
* At 29 feet...Pastureland will become flooded. Livestock need to be moved to
  higher ground.

* At 07PM Tuesday the stage was 26.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by Thursday afternoon.
* At 24 feet...Flooding of low lying farm and pastureland occurs. Cattle in low lying
  areas need to be moved to higher ground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive or walk through areas where water covers roadway! The
water may be deeper than it appears. Remember...Turn around, don`t
drown!

Forecasts are based on rainfall that has occurred and that which is
forecast to occur. Routine 12 hours of forecast rainfall is used for
most sites.

The next regularly scheduled update is expected between 8 and 10 AM.

* At  6:45 PM Tuesday the stage was 19.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue falling and will fall below
  flood stage by early Thursday morning.
* Impact...At 17.0 feet...Minor overbank flooding of low areas along
  and near the river is occurring.
