.RECENT HEAVY RAINS HAVE CAUSED SIGNIFICANT RISES ALONG THE RIVER.

  THE CHICKASAWHAY AT LEAKESVILLE
* UNTIL THIS EVENING
* AT 9 AM WEDNESDAY THE STAGE WAS 21.1 FEET
* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST
* FLOOD STAGE IS 20 FEET
* THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO FALL TO BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON.
* AT 22 FEET...FLOODING OF LOWLANDS IN THE AREA WILL CONTINUE AND SOME ROADS IN
  LOW LYING AREAS WILL BECOME CUT OFF BY HIGH WATER.
