At 309 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Snead to near Clay. Movement was southeast
at 25 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Gadsden, Rainbow City, Oneonta, Attalla, Springville, Odenville,
Margaret, Argo, Ashville, Steele, Altoona, Snead, Susan Moore, Walnut
Grove, Allgood, Rosa, Branchville, Inland Lake, Neely Henry Lake and
Highland Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe

Riverchase, Oak Mountain State Park, Maylene, Oak Mountain
Amphitheater, Joe Tucker Park, Ballantrae, Saddle Lake Farms, Siluria

thunderstorm near Geraldine, or 10 miles south of Rainsville, moving
east at 30 mph.

Pea size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this
storm.

Fort Payne, Rainsville, Little River Canyon National Preserve,
Collinsville, Crossville, Fyffe, Geraldine, Little River Falls, Pine
Ridge and Shiloh.
