THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BURLINGTON CONTINUES THE FREEZING
RAIN ADVISORY FOR EASTERN VERMONT...UNTIL 7 AM EST SUNDAY.

* LOCATIONS...THE NORTHEAST KINGDOM AND THE CONNECTICUT VALLEY
  OF VERMONT.

* HAZARD TYPES...LIGHT FREEZING RAIN...MIXED WITH LIGHT SLEET
  AND SNOW AT TIMES.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SEVERAL HUNDRETHS OF AN INCH OF ICE.

* TIMING...PERIODS OF LIGHT FREEZING RAIN WILL OCCUR ACROSS THE
  ADVISORY AREA...MIXED WITH LIGHT SNOW AND SLEET AT TIMES
  THROUGH MIDNIGHT. AFTER MIDNIGHT...INTERVALS OF LIGHT FREEZING
  RAIN ARE EXPECTED...RESULTING IN LIGHT ICE ACCUMULATION.
  TEMPERATURES WILL WARM ABOVE FREEZING AFTER 7 AM SUNDAY...
  ENDING ANY POTENTIAL ICING.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL MAY BECOME HAZARDOUS ON UNTREATED SURFACES
  DUE TO LIGHT ICING.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 5 TO 10 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...LOWS AROUND 30.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF FREEZING RAIN WILL
CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS. SLOW

* TIMING...OVERNIGHT.

* IMPACTS...A COATING OF ICE MAY MAKE ROADS SLIPPERY IN SPOTS.
  WHILE TEMPERATURES ARE ABOVE FREEZING IN MANY
  AREAS...TEMPERATURES SHOULD DROP TO AROUND OR JUST BELOW
  FREEZING WHEN LIGHT PRECIPITATION MOVES IN. EVEN IF TEMPERATURES
  STAY JUST ABOVE FREEZING...LIGHT ICE ACCRETION COULD STILL OCCUR
  OWING TO COLD GROUND TEMPERATURES FROM THE LAST COUPLE OF VERY
  COLD NIGHTS.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE LOWER 30S.
