YORK.

THE PROBABILITY OF WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS LOW.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

A STRENGTHENING STORM SYSTEM WILL SHIFT NORTH ACROSS THE GREAT
LAKES ON CHRISTMAS EVE. THIS WILL BRING WIDESPREAD RAIN WITH VERY
MILD TEMPERATURES FOLLOWED BY A PERIOD OF POSSIBLE STRONG WINDS
BEHIND A COLD FRONT ON CHRISTMAS EVE NIGHT. WINDS MAY GUST TO 60
MPH OVERNIGHT WITH A HIGH WIND WATCH POSSIBLY NEEDED IN LATER
FORECAST UPDATES.

INITIALLY...TEMPERATURES WILL BE COLD ENOUGH FOR POSSIBLE LIGHT
FREEZING RAIN FOR SOME LOCATIONS MONDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY TUESDAY
MORNING.

A MOIST LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL THEN IMPACT THE REGION THROUGH
THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK. RAIN COULD BE HEAVY AT TIMES WEDNESDAY.
COLDER AIR BY CHRISTMAS DAY WILL CHANGE RAIN SHOWERS TO SNOW
SHOWERS...ALONG WITH GUSTY WINDS. WITH POSSIBLE IMPACTS ON HOLIDAY
TRAVEL...MONITOR THE FORECAST AS DETAILS BECOME CLEARER.
