THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  CENTRAL WASHAKIE COUNTY IN CENTRAL WYOMING...

* UNTIL 800 PM MDT TUESDAY

* AT 813 PM MDT...RAINFALL RUNOFF COUPLED WITH INCREASED RELEASES
  OUT OF BOYSEN RESERVOIR HAVE CAUSED THE BIG HORN RIVER TO RISE TO
  MODERATE TO HIGH LEVELS.  THE BIG HORN RIVER NEAR WORLAND IS
  EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TO RISE LATE TUESDAY MORNING TO AT OR NEAR
  FLOOD LEVELS. MINOR FLOODING IS EXPECTED OF PROPERTY ADJACENT
  TO THE RIVER.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING INCLUDE...
  WORLAND...HWY 16/20/789 MILE MARKER 170...STATE HWY 432 MILE MARKER
  10...U.S. HWY 20/789 MILE MARKER 160 AND WYOMING BOYS SCHOOL.

...The Flood Advisory continues for the North Platte River...
  North Platte River at Lewellen affecting Garden and Keith Counties

.High flows continue on the North Platte River near Lewellen.

At 5 am CDT...the Lewellen gage read 7.6 feet, or 0.1 feet above the
flood stage of 7.5 feet. At this stage water overflows into low
lying areas and the water table rises that results in seepage and
flooding of crawl spaces near and along the river. Recent heavy
rains and the Rocky Mountain snow melt have resulted in elevated
river levels upstream from Lake MaConaughy. The river is expected to
remain above flood stage in the near term.

* At 05/25 04:00 the stage was 7.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.5 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 7.7 feet.
